- Well I had massive memory problems with my CyberStorm060 card when I used a
- mixture of memory speeds.
-
- When I used 3x4Mb 70ns and 1x4Mb 60ns SIMMS with the 60ns as the last SIMM, I
- couldn't access the last 4Mb without the machine crashing. I exchanged the 60ns
- SIMM for a 70ns one and the problem disappeared. Have you tried using 3 SIMM's
- of the same speed?, and does the problem still exist?
-
- I also had a problem with the memory module touching the Zorro Slots backboard
- through the paper protector, this caused a short circuit with the top SIMM
- socket and caused a crash if memory in this socket was accessed. Try using a
- different memory module to see if the problem exists?.
-
- Once I had exchanged the memory module for a new one (Thanks Harwoods) and used
- SIMM's all with the same speed, I've had no problems.
-
- If you need any further help, I'm in Loughborough, if you're near I'll pop over.
-
- Cheers Guy.
